Programs
The Peace Corps program in Macedonia is active since 1996, and over 200 volunteers have served in its two key program areas:
Volunteers in Macedonia work alongside Macedonian colleagues to improve English language education and expand efforts in rural areas; and address organizational capacity building and community development priorities as identified by beneficiaries.
Internationally, English is seen as a very neutral language, a political tool that can bring different cultures together. Tara MAK 11
